Forms processing
Forms processing is a conversion of the data stored in collections of information fields of the filled-in paper documents to digital form. Forms processing consists of two phases:
1. Capture of data from documents (data capture);
2. Digitization and saving of data in information system or company database.
As a result of forms processing, not only digitization of information contained in the printed documents, but also verification of the data and their transfer in already structured form into company information system should be ensured.
To solve the issues related to document processing in company, there are two types of forms processing: manual or with use of automated tools.
